You will eat more pizza than you did at home, but that's okay because pizza is amazing.
You will feel guiltier about staying in your room not seeing people, because it is completely up to you if you see people that day.
Come to that, everything about your day is your responsibility now.
And meal times become far more social, especially in a hall of residence.
You will get very good at setting alarms.
You will spontaneously go to movies because your friend drags you along; plans are meant to be changed at the last second.
When you go back home, you will realise how much you have changed without really realising.
And that's okay.
It's just called growing up.
You will accidentally start calling the place where you have only lived for 7 weeks home, and that's okay too.
It just means that you've successfully created a new life for yourself.
In saying that, it won't feel like you left your old life behind, rather that you have somehow now got two homes and two sets of people you love where you once had one.
You will do some things that won't necessarily be the best decisions, but hey, if you don't make any mistakes, you don't learn right?!
You will meet some amazing people, and some not so amazing ones.
But it will be very easy to avoid the not so amazing ones, and spend time with the amazing ones.
You can now stay up all night talking about everything and nothing with your friends as often as you like.
And if you are feeling crappy late at night, you can go and knock on your friend's door and they will give you hugs and chocolate and make you a cup of tea.
It actually isn't as scary as it might seem.
ps. the awesome watercolour textures are from here. :)
